THE LATE MIGOS LEGEND RAPPER TAKEOFF LAID TO REST AS EMOTIONS POURED OUT IN SPEECHES

Migo Gang Rapper Kirsnick Khari Ball (June 18, 1994 - November 1, 2022), better kwown by his stage name Takeoff, was an American Rap Artist and a member of the hip hop trio group Migos along his uncle Quavo and first cousin once removed Offset. The group scored multiple top ten hits on Billboard Hot 100 including MotoSport featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, Stir fry, Walk It Talk It featuring Drake, and Bad and  Boujee featuring Lil Uzi Vert, the later which peaked at the top of the chart, although Takeoff was not present on this single. Takeoff also recieved two nominations for Grammy Awards. Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston, Texas, following a dispute over a dice game.









According to report from TMZ, Takeoff's memorial service in Atlanta just ended, and his sendoff was marked by moment of emotions especially speeches from his Migos family and his friend Drake. The memorial service started shortly afternoon, and lasted several hours Friday at State Farm Arena ATL, and it was full of mourning fans, as well as the celebs who worked with, and loved The Late Rapper, Takeoff.


Justin Bieber, Chloe Bailey and Yolanda Adams all performed during the memorial service, and Takeoff's family members including his mother, brother and sister addressed the audience.
Drake, his close friend also spoke about the great times he and Migos all shared while the were touring together, and compared their brotherhood to the fame Rat Pack -- Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford -- which he grew up watching on TV. And offcourse, Offset and Quavo spoke not only about Takeoff as a groupmate, but as a family member. Their speeches, especially Offset's really had the audience in tears.

All the free tickets to the event were gone almost instantly, and folks in attendance weren't allowed to use their phones -- ushers locked them in pouches during the service.
The venue, where the NBA's Atlanta Hawks play, lit up a big sign out front that read "Celebrating the life of Takeoff." --


As reported Cardi B and Offset were dressed in all black Thursday evening in Atlanta, looking somber during a gathering with close friends. 

 
TMZ broke the story Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston following a dispute over a dice game. Cops have identified some people of interest, but so far no arrests have been made.
